Based off of one of the oldest and most prestigious trade marks, Jose Gourmet offers the finest selection of tinned seafood from Portugal's rich marine culture. Olive oil from the oldest trees in Portugal, Firewater from Lourinhã, and sustainably wild-caught fish from the local seas create a product based in tradition. Jose Gourmet has won two stars from the Great Taste Award in the UK for small mackerel in olive oil. The importer is also branded with the Great Taste logo, ensuring consumers they are receiving the finest, high-quality products. Working with local Portuguese artists, the packaging artwork for Jose Gourmet products is a beautiful representation of the hand-crafted tradition, and quality of seafood, found in every tin. 

By immediately flash freezing the seafood after it is harvested or caught, Wixter Market is able to preserve nutrient density and flavor — removing the variability that may come with fresh products.
