Deep Sea Fisheries, Inc., founded in 1981, is a respected leader in the Alaska seafood industry. President of the company, John, and his partners were the first to fish a newly americanized Alaskan pollock fishery, and one of the first to send catcher processors to the newly opened Russian crab fishery. They place value on maintaining the health of their fisheries through a commitment to responsible fishing practices. They provide fresh seafood products and a safe environment for workers, and sustainably source all of their products. Through its fishing vessels, shore-based processing plants, and management services, Deep Sea Fisheries provides a variety of seafood products that are handled by extensively trained employees. Fish are purchased directly from individual fishermen. The processing plant runs 24 hours a day, assuring the fish are processed within hours of being caught. Deep Sea Fisheries packs their products per customer’s specifications.
