Alaska Glacier Seafoods, Inc.
✕Alaska Glacier Seafoods, Inc. is a wholesale supplier of high quality, wild caught, Alaskan seafood. Owned and operated by the Erickson family since 1996, Alaska Glacier Seafoods was initially started as a hobby, selling a few pounds of side-stripe shrimp that were caught in the family’s 14-foot aluminum skiff. After purchasing a few thousand pounds of halibut, which they then sold to local restaurants, and at a road side stand on the weekends, the high demand soon had them buying small loads of halibut from other fishermen.
In 2005, Alaska Glacier Seafoods opened their 10,000 square foot waterfront processing plant on the pristine waters of Auke Nu Cove, just outside of Juneau. Their plant is certified by the USDC and the Alaska Responsible Fisheries Management Certification, and operates following guidelines of HACCP and the GMP's, ensuring the highest quality products for their customers. Processing over 10-million pounds of fish annually, species that include Chinook salmon, pacific halibut, and sablefish, Alaska Glacier Seafoods remains committed to producing high-quality, sustainably managed, wild Alaska seafood products.
